mike x To Whom it may concern
After following musician iamamiwhoami and ionnalee as a fan for years, Mike was able to develop a relationship with their team, To Whom It May Concern, and help on various projects. During a concert in New York, Mike was given the chance to share a dance on stage during an encore performance.
After catching on to NY Mag’s seasonal “#CelebsInSomething” campaigns, he decided to start replicating and tagging himself in the content. As a celebrity himself, it made total sense. After the Summer’s #CelebsinWater campaign transitioned to Autumn’s #CelebsinTurtlenecks, he saw an opportunity go further. Donning a turtleneck, Rosé, and trendy skinny glasses, Mike sat in a bubble bath giving birth to #CelebsinTurtlenecks in water. This caught the attention of the NY Mag editorial team and earned him a precious spot and 15 minutes of fame on their prestigous Insta-feed. His image falling on the grid next to icons such as Goop queen Gwen Paltrow, Kieran Shipka, and a photo of a cheesecake from a Michelin star restaurant in the city.
#ShutUpMike - NYC Marathon x alzheimer’s association
Mike is running the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon in support of the Alzheimer’s Association. To help reach his fundraising goal, he has created a campaign to give his donors uniquely (bizarre) custom merchandise.
